For the third day in a row, both gold and silver were trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, October 21.
Recording a dip of Rs 258 or 0.51 per cent, gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, stood at Rs 50,079 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, witnessed a downfall of Rs 505 or 0.89 percent and were retailing at Rs 56,497 per kg on the MCX.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 50,143 per 10 grams and Rs 56,653 per kg respectively when the market closed on October 20.
