पहली- राष्ट्रपति के खिलाफ बोलना अपराध माना जाएगा। दूसरी- नेशनल आइडियोलॉजी यानी राष्ट्रीय विचारधारा का विरोध भी क्रिमिनल एक्ट माना जाएगा।
इंडोनेशिया को आमतौर पर लिबरल सोसायटी माना जाता है। अब नए क्रिमिनल कोड को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। इसकी वजह यह है कि इस दक्षिण-पूर्व एशियाई में कुछ लोग नए कोड को ईरान की तरह मॉरेलिटी पुलिसिंग की तरफ एक कदम मान रहे हैं।
दूसरी तरफ, सरकार का कहना है कि वो क्रिमिनल जस्टिस सिस्टम को बिल्कुल नया कलेवर देना चाहती है ताकि तमाम चीजें बदलते वक्त के हिसाब से और अपडेट हों।
सरकार का कहना है- फिलहाल, जो क्रिमिनल कोड या आपराधिक कानून व्यवस्था है जो गुलामी के दौर की है। इसमें बदलाव की सख्त जरूरत है। हमें बदलते हुए वक्त के साथ अपने कानून को भी बदलना होगा।
खास बात यह है कि पिछले साल सरकार ने इस बिल के बारे में पहली बार जानकारी दी थी और उसी वक्त विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गए थे। अब कानून पास होने के अगले ही दिन लोग सड़कों पर उतरने लगे हैं।
